  I humbly disagree SJ. These Elders like the power. It is like fuel for them. There are some Brothers that would do all the jobs if the BOE would let them. Case in point: This one Secretary, when we were getting ready for the CO visit wanted to assigned out the Sheperding Calls, I said no, it is the Service Overseer assignment. Then it was time to assigned The CO meals, he wanted to do that, I said no, it is the COBE's job.

  We battled like this everytime. This Brother eventually had a heart attack and a minor stroke, but recovered. Now with me out of the way, "He is Leading the Charge!"

  In many of the Spanish they already do this because of the lack of legal Brothers.

  A nearby Congregation has a 32year MS but that his father and father in law are both on the B.O.E. A friend from that congregation was visiting us last week and made mention of this MS is a big joke among the young people. His Service consists of going to Laundry Mats and fast food places. The couple even said that he has no RV's and watches "R" rated movies(I was shocked that he would even admit that). The couple would like to change Halls, but "every Hall has their slackers".

  The meetings are getting more boring to me. Some of the Elders during their parts just Talk and Talk and Talk about uninteresting things. Boring, Boring. They go overtime it seems to bask in their moment of glory.

  Last night there was this part about young men reaching out. I looked out at the audience, there were only 2 brothers this could apply too. 1 was a loser who at 25 still lives with his parents, the other a 32 years old, single and emotionally troubled. Out of 100 pubs that's it. We have 6 Elders from 50-73 age range and the 6 MS range from 42-83 years old. These next 10 years could be interesting in that there are no people advancing in "Da Truth".

  Anyone busted on apostate site. JCs how are they handled.

  i'm just wondering has any body ever been busted on an apostate site because someone was able to identify them because of something they wrote.

  why i ask this question is because how would this be explained at a jc.

  because the person who reported it to the jc was reading something that they shouldn't of.

  intel on warwick project

  the committee assigned to build the new complex was called into a meeting with the governing body.

  they were told " you finish this project by january 1 2017. we want the keys to the complex and will be headquartered there by that date, do you understand?".

  when the brothers protested and said that it would take 6 years for the project to be complete and if they moved that fast there would be many mistakes, the gb responded, "we don't care, that is your deadline".

  Recently, In our area the Local Town Counsel had passed a Law forbidding anyone going from door to door including religious groups without a license. We (the Elders), called the Branch to ask for direction. They told us "for the time being, comply since you have plenty of other territory to cover. Wait a month, have 2 experienced Elders, make an effort to talk to some counsel members and explain our work, and the cases we have won defending our beliefs. Wait for a reply. If they reply negatively(they didn't), let them know the we would be prepared to fight them in court".

  The law was adjusted to allow religious groups to go door to door without a license.

  have a local needs on apostasy, have everyone shun you, have no shepherding calls since you left for over a year, and now a jc tomorrow evening????????.

  spoke to branch committee as well as co and they said to go and if we were treated unfairly then to call the co. don't get it.

  the co would have known about the local needs talk on apostasy and says if we were treated unfairly to call him.

  Decision time - do you want to stay "in or be out"?

  I agree with "Allelsefails". If you want to stay in, tow the line and say what they want to hear. This is put the burden of proof on your accusers. Keep calm, yet confident.

  Or you can "win the battle, but loose the war". You know, if you say anything different than "current truth", they will kick you out and only those on this forum will be here for you.

  last month i agreed with on this issue.

  he asked why the change, i told him that i have been doing some soul searching.

  Tech49 is the only one that really understands this feed!!! Thank You Jack Harper! I have literally given thousands of talk on how to raise your kids "Watchtower Style". I have only been in this forum for a month now. Is this how you treat newbies everyone? You go in attack mode because someone has a different take on an issue than you?

  AS I said, we are much easier this child than the 1st one. Some over 30 years of indoctrination, plus multiple KM Schools is not something you get over easily or forget.
